Fee Structure for MBBS Course in ACMS

Fee fixed by State Fee Regulatory Committee (SFRC) for a block of three years.
Fee is revised for all batches after three years based on SFRC notification.
MBBS being a four and half year course fee structure will change as per SFRC notification meant for that academic year.
Students to re-register every year in Jul-Aug.
Fee to be paid by Aug of the year.

Fee to be paid as long as student is on the rolls of ACMS.

Age: Candidate should have attained or will attain the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on the 31st of December of the year of admission.

Essential Qualifications : Candidates should have passed the 12thClass under the 10+2 Scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination (CSBE) or Intermediate Science (I.Sc.) or an equivalent examination of a recognised University/ Board of any Indian State with ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY.

Minimum aggregate : The minimum aggregate of the marks in ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY and BIOLOGY obtained in the qualifying examination (as in the Essential Qualification at “Essential Qualification”) required for appearing in this examination are : General and OBC candidates: 60%SC/ST Candidates 50%.

Number of seats in BDS for each academic year:-

(a) For the wards of Army/retired Army personnel- (UG NEET qualified) selected through counselling – 34 conducted by KNR UHS.
(b) For the students of Telangana state(KNR UHS – Convener quota) (UG NEET qualified) selected through counseling conducted by KNRUHS. – 06

Out of these 40 seats, Six seats are for Telangana State and 34 seats are for wards of serving/ retired Army personnel.The admission for all the 34 ACDS Management Quota Seats will be carried out by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNR UHS), Warangal, Telangana only. KNR UHS will issue two separate notifications for Registration in their Web site. First notification will be for Competent Authority Quota for Six BDS seats of Telangana State. Army Candidates must not (MUST NOT) register themselves under Competent Authority Quota as it is only for Telangana State Civilians. If you register under this quota you are automatically debarred from Registering for the 34 Army seats under Management Quota.

All candidates who receive Registration Number from KNR UHS should forward the scanned copy of following documents online to ACDS for verification of the same from the issuing authority. The mail address are army_c@rediffmail.com & acdsacademics@gmail.com (a) Registration Acknowledgment Sheet received online from KNRUHS. (b) NEETUG 2023 Rank Card (c) Certificate 1 to 4 as given in ACDS BDS Prospectus-2023 as applicable only. (d) Copy of Ex-serviceman Identity card, discharge book, PPO, Part II order and (e) ECHS card of the candidate alongwith certificate as per ACDS BDS Prospectus2023 duly signed by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer. (f) Copy of serving certificate, dependency certificate. (g) Copy of all certificates as per Para 23 of ACDS BDS Prospectus-2023. (h) Alternate E mail ID & two Contact Mobile numbers with names(preferably one of the Candidate and second one of the parent).

Eligibility criteria

Eligibility For Admission To ACDS – The admission to ACDS is for dependent children of eligible serving Army Personnel, eligible ex Army personnel and war widows of the Army. The children of following categories of Army personnel are eligible and they are required to submit the relevant certificate as given against the category applicable to them as proof of their eligibility for admission to ACDS on the day of Counselling by KNR UHS:- (a) The applicants must fall into one of the following categories:-

(i) Children of serving Army personnel with minimum 10 years continuous service in the Army (Submit Certificate No1). IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENTS TO ENSURE THAT THEY ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ADMISSION IN ALL ASPECTS

(ii) Children of ex Army personnel granted/awarded regular pension, liberalized family pension, family pension or disability pension at the time of their superannuation, demise, discharge, release medical board/invalided medical board. This includes wards of recruits medically boarded and granted disability pension (Submit Certificate No1).
(iii) Children of ex Army personnel who have taken discharge or released after ten years of service (Submit Certificate No1).

Educational Qualifications & Eligibility Criteria.

 No Candidate shall be allowed to be admitted to the Dental Curriculum of first Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Course until:- (a) He/she shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December, of the year of admission to the BDS course (b) He/She has qualified in NEET(UG) 2023. (c) He/she has passed qualifying examination as under:-

(i) The higher secondary examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 Higher Secondary Examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology(Botany, Zoology)/Bio Technology and other elective subjects with English

Minimum Aggregate. He/She must have passed in the subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together as one and in the same sitting. Compartmental Pass candidates are not eligible for admission.

MBBS and Dental  Seats in Govt medical/Dental College for  wards and widows of Soldiers

Seats for admission to MBBS and BDS (subject to allotment by “Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India”) are available through KSB for widows and wards of categories of Defence personnel in the following order of priority. Total Seats were available in 2024 – 42 (MBBS) +3(dental):

  • Widows/Wards of Defence personnel killed in action.
  • Wards of disabled in action and boarded out from service.
  • Widows/Wards of Defence personnel who died while in service with death attributable to military service.
  • Wards of disabled in service and boarded out with disability attributable to military service.
