Formation of 8th CPC in 2024 : DOP&T initiative to Finance Ministry

Govt employees and pensioner eagerly waiting for formation of 8th CPC.  Due to ongoing election, Govt is also busy in the commitment and mostly people expecting any good news after election.  But in this situation, a good news is there for all the Govt employees and pensioners that, 8th CPC formation process may accelerated with the action of DOP&T as recently noticed.

An OM dated March 20, 2024, originated by the Ministry of Personnel forwards a letter from the Indian Railways Technical Supervisors’ Association (IRTSA) to the Dept of Expdr, Min of Finance regarding the formation of the 8th Central Pay Commission for further necessary action.

The OM dated 20th March 2024, signifies the commencement of the process of 8th CPC as expected by lakhs of employees and pensioners.  The communication, addressed to the DoE, MoF, highlights the receipt of a letter from the Indian Railways Technical Supervisors’ Association (IRTSA), advocating for the establishment of the 8th Central Pay Commission.

The New Pay commission is in our paramount importance in the governance structure, especially concerning the welfare of government employees. Central Pay Commissions are instrumental in assessing the pay and allowances structure, evaluating economic conditions of the all stake holders and recommending revisions to ensure legitimate wages and welfare measures for govt employees and pensioners.
