Genuine Info on Yudh Samman Yojna One Time Grant Rs 15 Lakh for Soldiers – Not Fake

The letter containing proposal for award of Rs 15 Lakh to the soldiers participated in the Indo Pak war of 1971 is now available in official website of Indian Army Officers Record office under Army HQ . As per content of the letter, it is an internal communication and a proposal, not any sanction. This website has confirmed that the letter and the proposal is genuine and not fake. It is fact that the nation who forget their past heroes can never do the best for their citizen. India has always honoured the War Heroes and Martyrs with appropriate honour and awards.  According to the letter received in social media, recently, Military authority has proposed that , an sum of Rs 15 Lakh will be awarded to the participants of  Indo Pak Wars in 1965 and 1971 who are not in receipt of any pension.

Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare is processing a proposal for grant of one-time payment of Rs. 15 Lakh under “Yudh Samman Yojna”.   Department has requested to provide the detailed data of all the personnel (or their spouses) (SSCOs/ECOs, Regular commissioned  Officers, PBOR and Civilians) who actively participated in 1965 and 1971 wars  and awarded with Samar Seva Star and Poorvi Star /Paschimi Star medals. The MoD has requested  detailed data to be submitted to them as per the prescribed format.
