Discharge Book is the most essential document of an Exservicemen. It has been experienced that most of the ESM are holding their old Discharge book with incomplete information. You have the option to replace your old discharge book which will have the complete information that must need to be incorporated in your discharge book.
Information must have in your Discharge Book
Your discharge book must be updated with following information along with basic info already held.
(a) Name of all dependent family members including wife,son, daughter and parent.
(b) Updated residential address
(c) Education , service and award details
(d) Medical category details
(e) Aadhar, PAN, Mobile and Email ID
(f) Other important details
Application Process for change of Discharge Book
Exservicemen should submit an application addressed to Record office through ZSB. Format of application is given here. Just download, customise as per your requirement and submit alongwith requisite documents to your Zila sainik Board.
